	*December 10*
	Start your tour of the country on Day 1. No wasted first day in the air or in airport travel lounges.
	Board conveyance and head into the lush, green countryside of Costa Rica.
	Dine the first night in tropical splendor.

*December 11*
Morning tour of Arenal Volcano
Noon swim in hot springs.
Afternoon free for own activities and tours.

	*December 12 and 13* Transfer to Monteverde Cloud Forest
	*Enjoy activities* of your choice.**
Take a tram tour of the cloud forest canopy (above). Keep an eye out for the elusive quetzal bird. Visit butterfly or tree-frog gardens. Check out the hummingbird galleries.

The moderately adventurous can bird and animal watch in the cloud forest (below) or hike to the continental divide (only four thousand feet high), both easy to accomplish. The really adventurous can go zip lining.

*December 14 and 15* After four days at high elevations, transfer to the rainforest tropics on the Pacific Coast.
*Ecotour Manuel Antonio National Park. Go charter fishing, snorkeling, or horseback riding among many exciting activities.* Or relax on the beach or by (in) the pool .

December 16, transfer to the capital of San Jose. Arrive early afternoon for a glimpse of Costa Rica's big city.

December 17. After an early morning for exploring the city awakening, transfer to airport for flight home.
