cloud forest canopy (above). Keep an eye out for the elusive
quetzal bird. Visit butterfly or tree-frog gardens. Check out the
hummingbird galleries. |

| The moderately adventurous
can bird and animal watch in the cloud forest (below) or hike to the continental
divide (only four thousand feet high), both easy to accomplish.
The really adventurous can go zip lining. |

| January 6 and 7
After four days at high elevations, transfer to the rainforest
tropics on the Pacific Coast. |

Go charter fishing, snorkeling, or horseback riding among many
exciting activities.

transfer to the capital of San Jose. Arrive early afternoon for a
glimpse of Costa Rica's big city. (Note possibly we'll stay
another day on the Pacific Coast.)
January 9. After an early
morning for exploring the city awakening, transfer to airport for
flight home. |
