Arrive in country via direct flight from Orlando
Go immediately to resort in north central Costa Rica
Dine the first night in tropical splendor.
December 10
Morning tour of  Arenal Volcano 
Noon swim in hot springs.
Afternoon free for own activities and tours.
December 11 and 12

Transfer to Monteverde Cloud Forest

Enjoy activities of your choice.
Take a tram tour of the cloud forest canopy (above). Keep an eye out for the elusive quetzal bird.Visit butterfly or treefrog gardens. Check out the hummingbird galleries.
The moderately adventurous can bird watch in the cloud forest or hike to the continental divide (only four thousand feet high), both easy to accomplish. The really adventurous can go zip lining.
December 13 and 14

After four days at high elevations, transfer to the rainforest tropics on the Pacific Coast.

Ecotour Manuel Antonio National Park. Go charter fishing, snorkeling, or horseback riding among many exciting activities.

Or relax on the beach or by (in) the pool .

December 15, transfer to the capital of San Jose. Arrive early afternoon for a glimpse of Costa Rica's big city.

December 16. After an early morning for exploring the city awakening, transfer to airport for flight home.
