Itinerary:

Day One: Arrive Cancun by direct Jet Blue flight from Orlando.

Transfer to Chetumal. Spend the evening in this modern free-trade port.

Day Two: Begin the day by visiting the world-class archaeological museum (right).

Then it's on to two little visited and splendid sites. Kohunlich harbors some of the most interesting stucco mask (left). Dzibanche was the seat of the powerful Kan dynasty before transferring its capital to Calakmul.
Day Three

We visit the Maya megacity, Calakmul.

At A.D. 650, Calakmul was the most powerful and  important city in the western hemisphere. 

It was also the richest; left, one of many jade masks found at the site.

Day Four: On to Palenque (left), one of the world's most lush and beautiful archaeological sites, thanks to King Pacal and his clan.

Day Five:

the Olmec

Day Six: free day to explore our sister city, Campeche.

Day Seven: On to the Yucatan, stopping at several sites and spending the night within an hour of the Cancun airport,
Day Eight: Transfer to Cancun airport for direct flight to Orlando.
